I personaly would be using red. That is one component you want to make sure only comes off by mechanical means.

Blue loctite should definately be enough.. Red is like .. welding.

and you only need a dot of it, dont run a huge line up the whole lenght of the threads.

yeah..red is like a weld..need to heat it up to get it off..i'd rather not have to heat around that area
IMHO blue is useless in most situations.

yea at least blue. mine backed off last night. had to borrow a nut off the lower control arm to limp her home. and put a allen wrench in ur tool kit cuz mine didnt have the wrench for the upper bolt. i think the yami tool kit is garbage, i think i may make my own kit from now on. first time ive ever had to trailside fix my sled.

I used blue to put my spindles back together in the fall, and found them loose yesterday. I'm going red now.

Red only needs heat if the threads are perfectly clean when you use it. I put red on all the time and use no heat to remove bolts/nuts. The only time I really don't like it and use blue is on the rear suspension cross shafts as these can be a bear to get the bolts out of both sides with it. Or on really small fasteners. It's like the oil threads, millions of opinions.
