2014 SR Viper RTX
I'm trying to call Dave at Hurricane Performance, but for some reason, I keep getting disconnected when calling. I don't see any other posts related to this topic, that give a clear definitive answer.

I'm leaving for a week log trip in the morning, and will be setting offset and deflection tonight. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Can I align my 2014 Sr Viper rtx using the Hurricane Alignment Tool?

Can I remove the bearing circlip, and fix my secondary on the jackshaft, or should I stick with shims and have it float?

Am I better to set my offset to 13-16mm off the back of the secondary? Or can I set it to sidewinder specs, 58-61mm off the outside of the secondary.

Sidewinder book specs are wrong. Most anyone here will tell you that Sidewinders work best in the 57mm-59mm range, depending on the sled.

I'm replying to my own thread here incase someone in the future is in a similar situation. The hurricane clutch alignment tool seems to work for the SR Viper, but a straight bar will also do the trick. Here are my results from 3 different alignment methods.

-Hurricane alignment tool installed - Perfectly aligned per Hurricanes instructions.
-Straight bar to back of secondary - 14.50 mm
-Straight bar to front of secondary - 59.95 mm
