I am intalling drag & fly clutch kit on my 08 fx nytro and they recomend the red primary spring but the thing has 2 extra coils on it how im i suppose to compress that long of a sping ? thanks in advance

Swearing a lot helps...get a friend to help you hold it down or buy longer bolts or make yourself a compresion tool. Watch the bushing when putting things back togeather.

easiest way is to get a piece of threaded rod with some big washers and some nuts and pass it through the clutch and tighten the cover down. simple and no forcing at all..no swears

What also can be done if the cover bushing can slip over the clutch shaft bolt and washer. Is get some longer clutch cover bolts to suck the spring down. that way your not having to retorque the clutch bolt ever time
