My 07 Apex RTX looks like it is rubbing at the top of the rear shock mount. The inside of the tracks has wear directly in line with the shock bracket.

Anyone else have this happen to them and is there a solution? :o|

Maybe your track was too loose? Ulmer's has a kit to address this for Monoshock models. Maybe it will work on yours. Did you look to see if anything is busted or bent?

There's a "rocker" for lack of a better description, that goes between the lower front and rear shock - they've been known to break - which might result in what you are seeing as well?

I will look into the items and suggestions you guys have listed. I will keep you posted.
I am going to check the track tension. With the dual shock skid, I get different opinions on how tight/loose to run the track. Any suggestions?

Run it at the loose side of the OEM's Spec. If it looks like it is too hard on the hyfax, loosen it up a bit. If it ratchets under power, tighten it a bit. But, ... If you get a couple inches between the track and the hyfax with 22Lbs on the track, you will probably start hitting things (e.g. shock mounts, etc.).

Len,

Thanks for the input. I will loosen the track a bit. I run anti-ratchet drivers, so ratcheting should not be a problem. ;)!

Cannondale,

it seems to be rubbing at the top of the rear shock bracket. I have on the lift and plan on working on it this weekend. Thanks for the reply ;)!

As I mentioned earlier, a loose track can allow it to hit the shock. When you run external drivers, you can loosen the track. But, ... Everything has its limits. If you loosen it too much, then you can have problems like you are seeing.
