Can someone help me determine the right sled to select for ordering Yamaha's accessory DuPont Vespel slides for my 2020 X-TX LE (146")? LINK
Unfortunately, this page doesn't list my model.

Thanks!

best 100 dollar upgrade u can do - more top speed, lasts more than twice as long, better fuel mileage, and u have to use your break more often till u relearn how to ride... they r slippery! i took all the wheels out of skid except 2 in front on an xtx... dont need em with duponts... they come extra long so u have to cut em to length - get em - youll notice the difference!

Have to agree with Waldo. While this yamacat doesn’t eat slides like my Nytro did the benefits outweigh the cost imo. I remember when I put them in my Nytro. I went from 500 miles to over 1500 miles. Rolled so much easier, better top end and better gas mileage.

It’s all in yer head.
A standard set of slides has very little friction when there’s decent snow on the trail. Better fuel mileage? I’d like to see even a measurable difference.
BTW slides don’t wear track clips, sand and snow contamination does tho. If you were the ride in pure uncontaminated snow 100% of the time you would realize this to be true. Dirty snow has much more of an effect on friction than what yer slides are made of.

Well I don't think you absolutely need them but it is a decent adder if you can afford them. I never gave my Viper a chance put them on right away and I'm over 6000 miles on them. I did add a few extra wheels also. I know the wear on a Pro Cross compared to an Apex is huge. My Apex would go through slides, idler wheels, mono shock whoops better stop before the Apex God's get there undies in a bunch.

Can’t comment on the yam cat chassis but they definitely helped my Nytro. The sled would roll off the trailer in reverse. Lots of friction in that sled.

Yea that’s dry tho, either way they are a good deal because 5k miles they paid for themselves

Great!
Seems the B-TX LE 153" is double the cost of every other option, which are all listed are 144".
'Just want to confirm the 144'' ones are long enough for my skid with a 146" track.

FYI, some of us did have early slide wear with the 2017 Winders, both LTX and RTX.

Dupont’s are the best for stopping that problem. A bit expensive, but problem ending for many miles and years!

I wouldn't be worried about the slides being one inch shorter.

I believe the longer ones for btx are more because the inserts go all the way back where the 144 don't go all the way back..
