My 2006 Apex Gt has the electric shock and now when I hit the mode button to switch from shock mode to handlebar heater mode it wont do nothing. So I cannot change the shock settings...
anybody can help me with what to do? other than going to dealer??
Thanks!

Check the two little wires on top of the shock. 99% sure that is your problem. After fixing, make sure to use a lot tie rap so the wires and plug don't move.

Good luck.

Ohlin parts

Can the two short wires that lead to the EC shock be easily removed and replaced. Replacement part. Or is the fix reconnecting the broken wires (solder). I would like to replace the part without taking the shock off.

Only way I found was to fix it (solder). And fixing that in place would be hard. Either way you have to remove the skid or the shock.

Good luck

I have had a similar problem with the wiring at the Ohlins EC rear shock being ripped off.
I am in the process of replacing the solenoid rubber cap and wiring.
The replacement part only provided one electrical connector.
I would like to avoid having to replace the entire cable or the cutting the connector off the new solenoid cap to replace with off the counter connectors.
Anyone know where I can source the Ohlin connector to compliment the connector from the new solenoid rubber cap and wire.
Local dealer does not supply connectors only, only with the total cable.
Expensive fixes.

Forget Ohlin connector. Just use any type of Male/Female connector, like the one found in cars.
