- 2009 FX-Nytro on Gyroplane
I am about to begin an engine rebuild and beginning to doubt the "identity" of my intended victim. The engine is marked 8HV-001475 and I was told it was from a FX-Nytro somewhere in the 2007-2011 range.
The head-scratch moment came when I removed the casing bolts. The inboard 4 bolts were long bolts (similar to head bolts) and the outboard 4 bolts were shorter. Nearly half the length of the other 4. I looked at a parts catalog for crankcase bolts for a 2009 FX-Nytro and found all 8 had the same part number. I'm guessing something is amiss.
Anyone have a cross-reference table that can help identify this creature?
