180 miles on my 20 LE, error code. I guess it's the IQs module or something.? Anyone have info on this?

It's odd how I ride 80 miles, put it in trailer and come home, start it up, and I get the error. Worked fine all day.

Same thing happened to me last season, it worked fine for a 3 day trip, pulled it out of the trailer the day after I got home and had the code. It’s the module, very easy to replace, two screws and one harness to unclip. On the 19’s it’s located just behind the left side of the intercooler. My dealer ordered me a new one and I traded him the defective one. I believe that the system defaults to a medium setting when there is an error. Should be fine to drive other then the annoying code flashing.

Thanks for the info! My dealer is 2hrs away, so it would be great if it's something I could do myself.

Here’s a pic of the location on my 19’ tcat, should be the same on a 19’ winder not 100% sure if the 20’s are the same. Very easy to access and replace.

On my buddies 2020 he got the code on his first ride and never got to play with it this season he just got the new one last week

This is one of the main reasons I didn't buy a 2019 SRX and instead opted for the 2019 XTX-LE. The XTX-LE has the same shocks but are manually controlled and from past experiences it was obvious to me the electric control system on the QS3s would sooner or later become a problem. Whether its appliances, aviation, automobiles, or motor sport toys, manual control of the same system is always more reliable..."KISS" principle..."Keep It Simple Stupid".
I think Boeing knows the down side of this.

If I were to replace my Sidewinder now I think I would go with the 2021 Thundercat without the electronic shocks. Looks great and I also see they put the 1 1/4 ripsaw back in it. Lowest price of any hypersled out there also.
