looking for feedback on the evo turbo flash done to mpi trail kits. Talk to me any hp rating intercooler or not whose running it and how did it work. doesn't seem to be much out there for guys running it or reviews on the turbo flash.

No experience with it but from a clutching stand point I do know that the raised rev limiter would be a huge advantage. The sled performs so well right at the rev limiter that you want it to run there but it makes it hard to dial in clutching to keep it off the rev limiter yet not be too low in rpm, especially with changing snow conditions.

I am also looking for feedback with this setup. Preferably with their stage 1 kit for the mpi trail turbo with no inter cooler. Will be following thanks!

So far Im not impressed with the flash, save your money.

Check the turbo/supercharger section of this site there is a review or 2 in there.

I had it flashed to raise the limiter to 9800 and so far no luck and no help from EVO so far the biggest waste of money Ive spent on my sled.

Not trying to be a ball buster here but can you please elaborate on this? Your posts to this point have been kind of cryptic.
What do you mean? So far no luck? The rev limiter is not raised? Meaning the rev limiter still kicks in at the factory set point?

You have answered your own question. Pretty self explanatory " it doesn't work" in fact the stock ECU works better right now.

I have heard that it doesn't work well with turbos from others. I was told there are two rev limiters and the turbos raise the rpms to fast and smack the rev limiter. This is a pain because you are still having to toy with the throttle on launches. On NA applications it seems to work great.

Not sure why your getting pissy with me.
I have been in the same boat as you with EVO as have others on here.
From the way you answered my question i would assume you dealt with evo the same way.
Good luck getting your problem resolved sounds like your going to need it

Not getting pissy with you I just stated that I got the limiter raised to 9800 and it is not working, I'm just trying to warn other people to not buy all the koolaid being sold my loss us your gain. I'll have to wait till the winter to see if I can get it to work but I'm not holding my breath.

It sure seemed like it, but if you say your not than i accept that.
Would you like jim's cell phone number?
I can pm it to you if you think that will help

I'm surprised to hear that, from what I have read the couple people that have done it on here they really like it. Did you have them just do the rev limit raise? or was it the full re flash? I was really considering this but if its a waist of money maybe not.

Mine was reflashed back to the Stock 2014 ECU with the rev limiter set at 9800 and everything works great. I run a OSP turbo with PCV and ignition module and no Issues with anything. Stone88 if your running a PCV make sure the rev-extend is turned off in the PCV or that will make the extended limiter inside the ecu not work as the PCV rpm control takes over at 8600 rpm and overrides the ecu for rev-extend.. Just a thought and trying to help. I could not get PCV rev-extend to work with the turbo but know others that are N/A and theirs work fine. Spent a lot of time on the phone with Power commander and decided to flash with EVO and glad i did.
