Exhaust donut liftspan ?

2005 RX-1 with 3800 miles.

I am seeing a small amount of exhaust coming up from the hood, I assume this is due to the exhaust donuts going bad. Anyone else have this symptom?

Warm the sled up and stuff a wet rag in each exhuast end. If the sled keeps running your donuts are shot.
I did mine last year after noticing a drop in acceleration with sleds I have been running with for years. Performance came right back.

I needed to change my doughnuts last year on my 06 Apex 5000 miles. It kept backfiring on de-celeration. It also wrecked the titanium y-pipe. I since changed the y-pipes to stainless steel. Not sure if its the same on 05 RX? Good luck!

4000-6000 miles, then get the copper ones.
