After my first ride in great snow conditions I wore down to the hyfax wear line in 100 miles. Last year I made it 1,100 miles stock setup.
I added the marginal snow wheel kit up front by the curve and have not rode yet.
Without any pressure my track now sags about 1.5" by the rubber stoppers in the middle of the rail. A little pressure from a single finger brings it to about 1 7/8"
My father-in-law has an m8 153" and articat has him run it at 3" with 10 lbs pressure. At first they had him at 1.5" and he fried the hyfax, now at 3" they hold up well.
What are others running with extroverts on the xtx?
THANKS

So what are others with extroverts on an XTX running for track tension?

Run the track tight. I installed extro,s on my 08 fx. I lost a ton of mph & nytro likes a tight track anyway. Didn,t install em on my 09 xtx but don,t need em anyway. Your gonna get real fast slider wear anyway. Once i wore a brand new set to the wear line in 15 miles then they stayed there for the next 1000.

I run mine on the loose side of the specs.danjpohl said:So what are others with extroverts on an XTX running for track tension?
Top end speed isn't that important to me, since I geared it down and run a taller track.
