Feedback on mirrors and studs

I also have the Powermadd mirrors. And only seeing a light behind me is all that's important. Afterall, we're going down bumpy, narrow trails. They're made for a quick glance to see sleds behind you.

I also have the powermadd mirrors. They are fairly small, but functional. Its enough to see headlights and such at a quick glance. I do not like that the deluxe cover for my apex bends them in a tad and I need to re position them everytime i take the cover off, but the the other style here wouldnt be ideal in that respect either.

I do like the size of the view with the larger ones though. Does anybody have issues with vibration with them?

they dont vibrate, and when i put the cover,i just rotate them down and it fits no problem, the top part of the cover is like an elastic material that stretches

Thats awesome, thank you!

I just might be getting some.

Luckily I only need to use my cover couple times a year if going to UP, otherwise in the garage up north so no need to cover. Anyone using the Yamaha windshield mounted type on RX chassis? Which one works better, that one or the handle bar mount. Will need to figure which one to put on wifes since she wants to see more then headlight behind her.

Like the look of the powermadd handguards w/ mirrors . Do you have to adjust the brake or throttle side controls to install either the powermadd or Rox mounting brackets or are they a bolt on to the bars.

Rox mounts go past the bend on the short angled part of the bars - no adjustment.

I couldn't find the Rox mounts so I got the PowerMadd.

PowerMadd go on one side or the other of the controls. I trimmed my grips carefully for 1/2 the space and moved the controls towards the center to create enough room to mount between the grips and controls.

i have the handle bar mounted mirrors and honestly they work better than i thought they would. they also made a nice place to mount my temperature gauge and garmin. they're a little spendy but i'm happy with them. can't say i ever heard anything good about the ones that mount to the hood / cowl.

Rox used to make a pivoting mount specific for 06 models. The new Rox mounts are straight like the PowerMadd so you need to make space for them.

I just use a hand mirror that slips over the wrist. that way you can get a look behind you at any angle without moving around on the sled. it just takes a quick lift of the(left) hand to get a look.

They are a easy install with no sled adjustment/modifications. I also have a glove/wrist mirror on my left hand if needed.
For the hood mounted ones, my Son's sled has them and they work good without the handgaurds.
