sj. That could be a factor for sure as I do not have my track as tight as I did last year in any way. I will start with that step for sure. ODD

I did add the backcountry 1.75, and extros so I know the top speed will not be the same
X2 Lotsa traction

We are talking about throttle response though guys not top speed! Althought the additional rotating mass added by the extros and track prolly eats a couple horse tho fo sho! Take some weight out of those DNF's and make those clutches slam that belt!!! It's a Yamaha, it can take it

One thing for sure is that track spin is less, next run GPS comes with me!
With 1.75 sure does hook up better, as suspected, but with the extra ponies added to the motor, weight should be similar for clutch, as you halfto add weight just with excell full exhaust if you did not change your track.
Ill get to the bottom of it as soon as I get a chance but any help and or suggestions is appreciated.

Well did a little clutch work with the DnF's the other day and took her for a rip. Added a little weight to the tip and a little less on the arm.
Out of the hole and mid she was excellent 8900-9000 in the soft stuff but once I hit a little hard pack the Backcountry hooked in and the RPM's went way down to 8300-8400 (pulled the arms though).
Top end I was hitting 96mph (glimpse) on speedo, 92.5 on GPS in about 3-4 inches of fresh snow on the lake. RPM's were 8700-8800.
On off the throttle backshift was good(had better), trail was slightly sloppy, up and down and corners. Happier but not good enough, top RPM not achieved.
May halfto do a little grinding on the 3.2's for the tip. Little more wrap on secondary?
Ran into a 2007 Summit 800 151" 2" paddles with high compression head, intake and exhaust geared and clutched for 1900Ft ish.
First race hooked up and there was no turning back did not even see him.
Second race, spun on the loose, caught him after about 1000' and passed him. :exc:
Third race, spun a little, neck and neck then left him in the dust.
Still a little more testing but all in all better.

Mounty, have you had to add any fuel with the RB3 and Hurricanes map? How easy is the RB3 to install...and are you running 87 octane?
