Got out for a good rip tonight on my new to apex. About 50 miles.
We have about 8" of wet n' heavy snow on all the roads right now.
It rocks! :4STroke:
Power all over the place. I only ran roads, so i really can't say much about the suspension till I hit some bumps. lol. Last owner is about 50 lbs heavier than me, some adjsutments are in order. I was really suprised at how I can throw the sled around. I like the engine breaking.
On the other side of the coin,
Stock apex skis Suck!
I need longer studs and way more of em. She is a spinning mother!
Cannot wait till we get ICE.
Cheers,
Rick.

If you are running the stock Apex skis in combination with the stock carbides you are in for a real treat. When I took my stock carbides off a month or so ago I had about 1 inch of carbide left on the one ski and a bit more on the other. No wonder it didn't turn real well. Can't wait to try my Slydogs!

Shimming of the stock skis helps, but they still leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. Certainly doesn't hurt to try the skis from your SRX.

Rightarm-Not on haliburton lake.
We live off 118 between green lake and maple lake.
Triple- I hope so.
Do you got any snow in peterborough?
We got another 4 or so inches today. Got a total of about 8 good inches on the ground.
Looks like I have to seel the ol srx after all. Bills and Christmas. I have over 2 g's in my srx in the last year. $2500.

Are you friends with Andy at MMOWER

Just enough snow to cover the ground, supposed to get warm and rain tonight. Yes, you never get the money out of them, that you put into them. I kept my SRX for that reason. It never seen snow last winter, maybe I will get it out for some drags or radar runs this winter. Keep in touch on the snow and trail conditions up there. Thanx Dave
