Just trying to gauge, whats going on with these sleds.....

80 miles.
Flawless, lighter than expected in frt.
Not happy with lack of accessories. I'll have Cat & doo parts on it b4 weeks end.

50 miles so far. Motor is so smooth and the q3 shocks are light yrs better than the 2014 floats! The headlight is nice and I really like the stock sound of the exhaust. The tuner skis don't dart but sure suck in loose snow. So glad I went back to the 129 this season. The playfulness and transfer is back. Something I missed on my 137. Just my personal preference. Can't wait to get more miles on. Also agree with JT on the accessories. Ordered tunnel bag and windshield bag in mid nov and it's still back ordered till Jan 4th.

First meeting , old and new !
Apex feels betrayed !
So I have tipped up rails , WRP seat , hyfax savers , duponts , power steering , Star kit , and FOUR cylinders ! What do you have ?
TURBO !
OH , This kid will be trouble .
Until he gets broken in , and studded , I am still King !
Atleast you are a step brother !

460 miles, grips corners well with stock tuners. In my honest opinion not much faster than apex... but faster. Feels lighter, minimal darting. Sets up higher and easier to stand when big bumps sneak up on me. I felt a strange sadness leaving the apex in the trailer. Almost cried lol.

I don't share the same frustration with accessories like others have implied. I got my smoked mid height windshield and all my bags from viper catalog... and a little from the cat catalog. Overall very pleased. Oh and reverse is much better than the lever but the button is small and hard to push....

haven't looked to see if they still have the dimple, but how about epoxy a small nylon cap nut there around it, easier to feel and depress. instead of cuttin the housing
99% of time I just wear UnderArmour gloves the very thin stretch type so I don't have a issue and avoid using reverse as much as possible. Not envisioning what you are saying but I believe the switch was purposefully made difficult to engage and disengage to avoid accidental activation. Any mod should be really carefully thought about.

when i get to the shop i'll look at it, see if i figure out something small there in the center of the switch to give it a slight little bump. like a small nylon cap nut epoxied to the switch...shouldn't stick out to where it would get bumped, but easier to find and depress with gloves on. i agree its very hard to activate, for my effed up hands, even without gloves.(worst hands multiple specialists have ever seen, feel like someone hittin with sledgehammer all day everday) cant even grip most tools anymore to wrench stuff. or much anything else. and i do fully get the whole accidental thing. just thinkin out loud and certainly don't want any premature evacuations from the sled! on another note, my buds dont know the folks you mentioned early on. pretty sure it was you:) old age. one other fellow may though, he has an indie hd shop for many many years and is in his upper 60s. he is a long time cat guy and we've chatted on these new ones a few times. most of my doo crew are re-uppin to the 850....

Having had an Apex since 06 , and the 03 RX-1 , before that , I will always be partial to the Apex and the 4 hole Genesis engine .
If the overall SW experience is not better than my 15 Apex XTX , which I truly love , then it goes , and I buy whats next up for 18 .
