I was out this week for the first time with my northeast turbo kit, with a 28 rs with a stock motor ran it around and no leaks so I decided to make a pass 10 lbs of boost seem to run real good, turned it up to 15 lbs and it ran great running c16 fuel for safety, 131 mph in a 1000 ft. gearring is on the high side at 26 top and a 33 bottom I wanted to get a feel for the sled before I did the motor the only problem I had after the run is that it is blowing antifreeze out the overflow and it no longer builds good boost it will only go to 10 lbs any guess' out there? could it be a blown head gasket? and it wont build boost ? also I dont smell any antifreeze in the exhaust and the oil looks good , thanks Patrick

Take a look at this thread

This thread discusses the problems you are seeing. Mine is doing the antifreeze thing at 16 lbs, but not at 12 lbs. I have no problems building boost even with a leaking head gasket (if this is really the problem in my case).

If you are going to run high boost put heavy duty head studs in. the stock ones will stretch, www.aperaceparts.com $80. I have run up to 25lbs no problems you should not be losing any anti-freeze.

snowy1 - studs are in my near future, I'm sick and tired of this leaking thing. I'm also going with a one piece copper head gasket when I'm at it. Talked to Freddie at ECP - www.easterncycleperf.com - and he recommended the studs and gasket he make in his shop. He do not recommend stacking head gaskets at all. Studs and nuts are $99.95 USD - gasket is $90.00USD
