Just finished reassembling my 06 Apex and I am getting a flashing display on my instrument panel.
The owners manuel says it is possibly a disconnected wire on the fuel gauge sending unit.
Checked the wires on both ends - at the gas tank and at the wiring harness.
Any ideas?

Re-trace your steps. What did you disassemble?

removed seat, gas tank and replaced doughnuts. Plenty of gas.

I just did mine a few weeks back and had the flashing error as well. It was flashing the fuel and it showed a full tank. I knew it only had a gallon in it. Turns out I forgot to plug in the fuel meter sender unit #*$&@. It is on the clutch side of the sled on the back side of the tank. It was a 5 minute fix. I hope this helps.

Is it possible that one of the fuel filters in the tank got tangled with the sending unit? Have a look in there with a flashlight.

^^^^^^^^^^
9 times out of 10 that would be it, the other 1 is no fuel in the tank.

Should be a connector right side of tank, facing the motor. Green plug if memory serves. Plug it in and restart.

Thanks Vader. that did the trick. :-o

The guys in this site are the best! Always willing to help out!

Glad it was an easy fix!

I wish I could take credit for it but I did the same thing and posted the same question a month. Saved me tons of time and frustration. The guys on this site seem to know everything.
