Float Plate

I used the flotation plate with my stock bumper. I tried it with the other bumper but I didnot like the looks of it sticking out so far. I put my original bumper on then took a hand held propane torch and heated up the flotation plate and formed it to fit up against the original bumper. Looks and works great. I used the original clips to fasten it to the front bumper.

Do you have any pics? I just got an old style float plate and plan to mount it the same way. What I like about the float plate is it provides protection under the clutch panel, unlike the stock and the Yamaha accessory skid plate.

I like those A-arm protectors... the picture on your website (the blue phazer) is that the ultra plate from yamaha?

Your phazer, you bought the extension bumper from Yamaha and then the Skinz plate fits on that? Is that correct?

The pics you see on our website of the Phazer are from MrSled's (Tom) Phazer that he used to have. I believe the skid plate and bumper were Yamaha accessories.

Thumbs up gade-thrasher on your a-arm guards. I had them on my Attak and will get them for my XTX.

Here are a couple pics of how I used the Yamaha flotation plate with the stock bumper.

Thanks for the pics! But they must be photoshopped because the know-it-all parts kid at Anchorage Yamaha told me there was no way to mount the float plate without buying the accessory bumper.

A couple years ago, my buddy mounted his float plate using the stock bumper but I never saw how it turned out since he sold the sled. Seeing your pics, I think it looks way better with the stock bumper than the snow shovel look with the accessory bumper.
