A 2015 Viper MTX with turbo will be testing this setup sometime very soon by a well known vendor. I will post results when I have them.

Perfect, post em in the mountain section. your test results with have nothing to do with a non-turbo 135 hp viper... :drink:

Wait, are you not the guy that said the 8DN didn't work? :tg:

Tested 45 Deg. helix today, all better now. Lost 400 RPM, running about 8800-8850 no more pinging rev limiter and gained 5 lengths in 600 ft.

Atta boy!

Definitely going to try some different things this weekend ;)

Rode 4 hours yesterday with the clutch fix and my forearms hurt from hanging on...lol...have not had that since the supercharged Nytro. Ran all day with an 800 Ski Doo and was he ever surprised. Couldn't be happier with how this sled runs now.

Hey bud!

You ROCK!!!!!

You found something out that after I talked to you on the phone, it made sense what needed to be achieved...and your idea not only worked for you guys in the mountains, but also greatly improved acceleration for us flat landers.

Only difference was I used 8FP weights instead of 8FS and I didn't have to grind anything.

Thank you so much Bill, I killed my Nytro on take off by 4 lengths! Not only a couple times, but everytime. This sled has GRUNT now! tried all kinds of springs and helix's....finally got the smoother engagement (3100) and just a very powerfull take off!

I am posting a whole test day with your idea in my XTX ride and results :)

COOL! Thanks for helping me test this even when others disagreed. This is BIG as far as the Viper is concerned.
