When I ride, 06 Apex ER, I do sled on both lakes and trails in Canada but can't decide on which one to ask Santa (the wife) to get me for X-mas. By the way she won't get me both. Which one would you ask for?

Get the clutch kit. I have the fox Floats on my RTX and don't think that they are anything special. They work o.k. but I try to keep my skis off the ground as often as possible

I have both, but if i had to take my pick it would be fox floats,if someone saids different, than they have not ridden with out the fox on the same machine, just do a swap and you will see, just how good these fox shocks are,the clutch kit is sweet, but it wont help you feel better after a bad day of crappy trails..Shivesy said:When I ride, 06 Apex ER, I do sled on both lakes and trails in Canada but can't decide on which one to ask Santa (the wife) to get me for X-mas. Hey,If your going to end up with both, have santa get the fox floats. there alot more $$$ then the clutch kit. I just put the floats, ulmers stage 2 kit, differant plugs, and ultra q exhaust, and a gps on my attak. Now all I need is SNOW.

O.K.,
I'm weighing in again. I did ride my buddies ER and it definatly did not ride as nice as my RTX. It was not set up yet and definately not for my weight.....so, I think it is a toss up.
Although, If you are going to spend the money on the Floats, I would consider aftermarket shocks instead. Hell, ask around...someone may have some floats that they'll sell you cheap. Then you can get both
