WHAT IS THE STOCK LOCATION FOR FRONT LIMITER STRAP ? ALL THE WAY OUT? CURRENTLY SET AT 2ND LONGEST SET OF HOLES.
HAVE INSTALLED EXTREME SNOW TRACKERS AND STEERING SEEMS HEAVY ON A LONG TRIP.
WILL ADJUSTING TRANFER ROD TO ALLOW MORE TRANFER TO REAR SHOULD LIGHTEN UP SKIES FOR STEERING
HAVE FOX FLOATS AND HAVE TRIED A FEW DIFFERENT AIR PRESSURE SETTINGS AND DIDNT SEAM TO AFFECT THE STEERING AT ALL
KINDA SORRY I DIDNT GO WITH THE SEMI EXTREME INSTEAD

THANKS

1 thing that is almost never discussed when talking about heavy steering is the condition of the stock components. My 06 steered VERY heavy until I replaced the worn out or dry heim joints. Of particular importance is that polyurethane collar that holds the main steering shaft to the frame and the stock plastic collars that hold the vertical arm. My originals were very dry and caused a lot of resistance to turning. The thing was a real bear. To check your steering, just lift the front of the sled so the skis are off the ground and dangling in the air and try turning the handlebars lock to lock. If it isn't very easy, those collars could be the problem, or at least a contributor to the problem.

I don't have necessarily a 100% correct answer but it seems like there are 5 holes and stock is in the middle set.

The stock position for the limiter is all the way out. I always ran mine tightened one hole.
I had Aggressive Snow Trackers on my ‘06 and the steering was lighter than any thing else I tried........deuce bars, duallys, shaper bars, tuner skis with several different carbide combos, you get the idea.
Sounds like you may have other things going on there.
