Can the front rear shock be rebuilt? Mine has about 9K on it and is looking like it maybe leaking.

Front yes. no to the rear, but there is many options for changing the rear one, cheap too!

Had my center skid shock and both my front shocks rebuilt at SHOCK-TEC in ontario(www.shocktec.ca).Over 5000 miles on my sled and the oil in the shocks was pretty wasted.$45.00 cdn per shock was alot cheaper than buying a new one.The rear shock is not rebuildable so you have to buy one from yamaha($430cdn is the best price i found).

Replace the rear shock with a used Viper shock and revalve it. Works great.
