I just installed my Combo Sport Luggage and Front Storage bag. My question is, does the rectifier get hot? I could only rotate mine until it was perpendicular to the ground. It would not go any further. Also, I rotated the ground strap 180 degrees like the instructions say but it looks like the metal crimp is touching one of the fins. Is this ok? The last thing I need is to have a failure out in the middle of no where because I didn't ask a dumb question.
Thanks,
Marc

- None, looking now!
I ran one of those in my RTX. I just placed it in the front, ran the Air box strap through the loop and that was it. When I pulled it out if the sled, it looked new as the day I bought it. No issues at all. I didn't move anything up there.

I thought about leaving it alone but the instructions say to move it. Here are some pics.

I did the same as 1CS and never had a problem either.
I have the front storage bags on both the sleds in my signature.

I don't have the bag but I did unbolt mine and turned the bracket around so it would swing more downward. Gave me a little more room. That's what happens when you pick up a brand new sled in Sept. LOL
