I have an 04 Rx1 and it’s terrible on fuel. Being a 4 stroke I thought it would be pretty good, anyone have any idea on what it could be

Have you cleaned the carbs and replaced the pilots? Bad or warn out clutch parts can do it too.

As Sled has mentioned....poor or worn out clutching will affect fuel mileage. How many miles on the sled?
Here are some other things to look at, check on....
How are your track clips? Any missing? Most of the sleds have tracks that aren't fully clipped now, which will cause drag in low snow conditions. A lot have switched to fully clipped tracks.
Worn belt will also cause higher revving and increased fuel mileage.
