First off I am a new member on this site and I have to say hats off to the guys that keep this site running, very informative site, and also hats off to the members to be very helpful with so much knowledge and insight on all topics!
I just bought a 09 FX Nytro RTX and haven't put 1 mile on it yet but looking forward to ridding when the snow finally hits! I just came off a GSX 800HO, so, I hope this new one out is more enjoyable than the last!
Soooo, to my topic, just wondering if any of you guys know of any after market passenger seats for the machine (for the 1/2 dozen rides the wife will take a yr)? I know of the Jack Seat, but wondering if there is any more? And if you have the jack seat what do you think of it?

Seat Jack is the only one I know of! My buddy has one on his Vector, for the odd ride that his wife goes on they really like it.
I had a passenger on my Nytro once last winter but I didn't have a chance to change any suspension settings.(Myself and a buddy had to go rescue the groomer operator and his g/f) The XTX didn't ride very good with 2, although my buddy on his Renegade complained of the same thing.
Maybe another question to ask is has anybody done any 2-up riding on a Nytro? Just trying to cover all bases for ya.
Good luck on your search.

Thanks Radianguy,
Seat Jack is the only one I know of too!
Its a bit too late to ask if the nytro is very good for 2-up! I didnt buy the sled for that reason, just want something so she can semi enjoy the few rides that she comes out with me!
The old BRP I had, had a 2-up seat that I bought, wasnt the best sled for 2 passenger but it was alright and served the purpose!

If you get the seat and ride a passenger, you will most likely burn the slides up in one trip. I would look into spending a $200 and upgrading wheels and buying a few extras for the back end. It's not a real big job... only takes an hour to do... getting all the parts and machine 2 of the mounts is what takes the time.
Let me know if your interested and I can pm you all the part numbers... etc.

I have a seat jack on one of my XTX's it works great. But Your going to have to get stronger torsion springs. With two adults on it you will be bottoming out all the time. My wife and daughter ride two up, last year was ok but the kid is growing(11) I doubled my father in-law on it. Id say it was bottomed out once we sat on it. Looked like a low rider. I'm 230 without gear, I have the x-clicks and the hygrear spacers, I have the x-clicks set to the 3rd setting and its good. I have about 1-2 inches sag. I have the same set up on the wife's XTX w/seat jack but the x-clicks are set to the 4th setting. It bottoms out when riding two up. I think the seat jack is well worth it. It also comes off easy and goes back on easy.

i i have a seat jack on my xtx i weight 200 and my gf 120 i try to set the seat jack as far front that i can and with the x-click set to the harder and the compression knob to harder it bottom a little bit in the big bump but its not to bad and for the ridding you need to slow your speed in the turn but its not to bad.

Thanks guys for the info. I will try the simple plan first of adjusting my x-clicker and compression knob. And if that isn't enough I will go with the upgrades that rayman and bamboo suggested.
