If it is not the dolly's I would place my money on the grease in the shafts are dry and is now a caked and hard. I know you added grease but it does not always push the old crud out.
The old crud causes a lot of friction in the joints and makes it over comes the force of the springs.
The shock is probably due for a rebuild though.

Good point, the dealer did have the skid out just before the season and replaced the hyfax and greased everything as part of preseason tune up. I will recheck that, thanks.

Low temp grease in all pivot joints, all points move freely and are greased, both shocks look visually fine along with torsion springs.
Suspension still does not rebound, my only thought is the shock is bad and needs rebuild/recharge. I plan to have revalve work done and will go from thier.

I put a rev 17.5" gas shock absorber in place of the nytro MTX shock. Its stiff but when I land hard I dont bottom out. Have over 700mi on it this season no issues. Got the shock for 30 bucks on eBay.

rear shock
Update. Had the rear shock rebuilt and revalved by Pioneer performance. After rebuild it worked as expected. Logged about 300 miles and now im seeing the same thing. Rear suspension does not rebound when manually compressed. Any other ideas on potential cause. I would hope the shock is not blown after 300 miles of riding
Dodge Ram - did you get yours fixed? What was the issue?

Yup noticed the same thing on mine when on rollers. Needs to be flat on the floor with no rollers under ski's or skid.

I could not figure out why my suspension seemed so sagged out in my garage but out on the trail it worked fine. Mystery solved and now that I think about it of course it would have to be on solid ground, how could the spring push the sled up when there is nothing under it? Cool.

The dolly's completely change the geometry of the pressure on the rear skid. It is designed to work properly with pressure along the entire length of the rear skid not all the pressure in a 5"x"5 area. The rear shock is pressurized with nitrogen and will aid in lifting but 85% of lifting is done by thy springs.
