So who has pulled the trigger and ordered the closed loop tuning. I am pretty sure I will try it out when I order my Turbo Dynamic’s 3” supper quiet exhaust.

I pre ordered it the night of the release. I already have the td flasher and afr module so it was a fairly inexpensive upgrade. I like the fact that basic hardware changes dont require calling TD to update tunes or having to add an adjustable pressure regulator. While the regulator works, adding pressure effects the whole rpm range and this is fine for some, others will prefer the closed loop option. Their claims of better cruising mpg will be a big plus if its true, alot of guys could use a little more range then what we got . Not complaining about mpg as I dont ride snowmobiles to worry about fuel consumption but no one ever complained they got good range while having fun.

I ordered it as well!!
This was a must have on my sled!!
I found tunes to be extremely rich in warm weather riding and it always drove me nuts!!
I couldn't be bothered with a adjustable fuel pressure reg !
I take my sled apart every year to do a good once over so I can just Ride during the upcoming seasons !!
Having a autotune feature and letting the ecu do the fuelling change needed while riding is where it's at...imo

You have really watch those adjustable FPR gauges too, they don't last. So saying your running rich , take side panel off, gauge reads 53 key on. You go huh that's why , crank it back to 43 only to find out the gauge was wrong and your now running 33.

I have ordered this closed loop upgrade as well. The ability to to run optimum AFRs fits my needs perfectly. My riding group does long, high mileage rides on a regular basis and fuel economy on the high HP tunes is paramount. On my Apexs I always ran, and still run, Autotunes combined with AFR readouts and Pod 300s. This closed loop system should accomplish the same thing without the need for me to build maps myself.
It only gets better!:)

1nc this was the number one reason that persuaded me to go with the closed loop. I had already purchased the AFR module and Hurricane's fuel upgrade kit in preparation for the header/bigger injectors and eventually turbo upgrade. Being able to run a true CAI is icing on the cake.

Impressive power with the header and 3 inch super quiet. In the facebook video the machine makes 288 HP with what looks like about 14.3 lbs boost.

Not going to happen at that boost level

That’s cool, so I guess a 20 psi tunes is near 340-350 now

Thats awesome, I watched the vid but had never bothered to pay attention to the boost. Thanks for pointing that out
