You may want to put a light gauge aluminum backer inside the door of the Dash Caddy to through bolt any type of mount. I feel like it's a bit flimsy on it's own and i had issues with the door flipping open under an acceleration/stutter bump trail situation. I actually added a Velcro strap on the door.

what is the mount that is shown? I've been trying to find a short distance one. I don't have the mounts that came with mine. You can mount it to anything. The dash caddy, BOP gps bracket ect.
edit, never mind. I found mine. It looks like you just sent a bolt through it and held it in place that way.

Got it all all mounted. Seems secure but I'm a bit concerned that the detach lever is touching the door.

Looks good. I got this idea from the skidoo guys and how they mounter to the glove box extension. They all put the tab on top. Just rotate it 180. That tab looks close and a big vibration could be enough to unlatch it.Got it all all mounted. Seems secure but I'm a bit concerned that the detach lever is touching the door.
