gearing on 03 rx1 mountain

what size upper and lower gears does a rx1 mntn come with? Im thinking of gearing up since I dont Mountain ride, also what other gears will fit? polaris etc?....

21/40 with 8T drivers are stock on the 03 rx-1 mtn. Polaris Hyvo gears will fit on the bottom and are lighter and cheaper. Top gears are yamaha only.

rx 1 mtn

yamaha sold a flat lander kit for the mtn sleds it was 6 rivets for the primary arm,s (stk rx 1 rivet,s) and a 23 tooth top gear. the mtn arm,s came with out any rivets installed.

I installed the "flatlander" kit that black john mentioned.Made a huge difference on mine.Two more teeth on top,same chain,added the rivets to the primary.Easy to do,cheap,big difference on top end!
