- 2005 RX-1 Mtn 162, 2002 Viper 144 M-10 custom Build, 2007 Phazer Mtn Lite 151,2000 SX-R 2up conversion, 2000 V-Max 600 Dlx, 1996 V-Max 600, 1989 Ovation 340,
I have recently changed over to 7 tooth 3.0 pitch drivers and a 162 track on my mt rx1. It will not run over 8500 rpm at full throttle. it has 21 /40 gearing. If I switch to a 20 tooth upper will that be enough? the apex mt has a 20 tooth upper. Just thinking with the drivers and track change I got out of the sweet spot. Or is clutching where I need to change? I do not ride at high elevations just backcountry riding in upper MI. I do not care about the speed loss I just want to keep in the right powerband
