Here is a couple of pics of the family biking trip in Gowganda , we got in 350 Ks of some awsome trails , stayed at Gowganda Lake Lodge , the owners are the best , they looked after us from the minute we got there , there is every kind of trail avalible , mining roads , mud , water , large hills with great views of the landscapes , we did some boating , relaxing ,swimming , this area is a hidden gem with miles and miles of trails to be explored , the weather was hot all weekend , riding in shorts and t-shirt was awsome

love your pics,is that ron's camp,thought it was called'' quicks camp'',that temex sign is by duncan lake right,was cutting firewood a cpl weeks ago in that road,lots of bear dong,we actually had one come under the campers awning while we were having supper inside,you cant beat the north,lots of riding available and no traffic,glad you had fun as usual

Ron changed the name a bit to a lodge , they are drilling crazy up the Everet Lake rd just before Gowganda , the drillers have been signing contracts to stay with Ron for a year , so they must have found something good , weather was excellent up there , to bad I had to come home

last week,a older man was found by is atv on the ground,dead, on beauty lake road near longpoint,they dont know what happened,there were skid marks as if he would have jammed the brake,its weird

Ron said it was a older fellow with his Grandkids picking Blueberries and wet over a wooden bridge thing built by two wheelers and it collapes under the extra weight and the bike rolled on him , killing him
