Hey, just for a quick survey, what would you guys think is an acceptable price to pay to be able to sit on your computer as you are right now and find the location of your stolen snowmobile? To be able to come home and track your days trail ride online. To have the wife be able to see if the sledding gang is at the Pub after a days ride instead of coming home. These are are subtle hints as to whats coming in a few weeks time. Just want to get a general opinion on whether this is a targetable market.

In Wisconsin we don't have to take items back on a theft recovery, so if my sled is stolen, thats it.
Not really into tracking where I've been because I generally know where I went.

Could you use it as a GPS while riding?
If so maybe $500 to $1000

I think it would be a nice option for 200-500 dollars. A basic hand held is about 150-200. Some of us can't remeber every place we have ever been. Also nice in the case of an emergency. I would like the ability to recover or at least identifiy the location of the thefts to PUNISH their face. 8) As far as the pub locator have the option to unplug for that time frame.

Well in Canadian dollars, somewhere around the low 500 mark. Its not meant to be a hand held, there is no screen. It simply a unit the size of a wipeboard eraser that can be placed under the seat in a small cut away. No one knows its there. The GPS antenna is built in, and it operates with a new technology where it doesn't have to see the sky. once the season is over, throw it in the glove box of your car, bobcat, shipping containers, the list goes on. Start you own sled bait program...

How about loading in the GPS coordinates of all the strip joints in Quebec? I bet people would pay plenty for that option!!!! The GPS unit could warn you when you are getting close to one, in case you need to warm up for awhile.
