I had a great weekend in north bay at the nbssr event. The crew at the nbssr put on an excellent event and try very hard to stay on top of the track with the changing weather conditions. This time the ice was soft and there was a lot of spinning going on in the 1320'. Everyone tried to stay on point with the ice condition.
I got to meet quite a few of Ben's TD customers, they were very helpful and a great bunch of people.
I went with my buddy Tom and met Ben and his wife Jessie, great folks. We ran our sleds on sat and some of them on sunday.
Ben won his class open 1000 with 174.6mph with steve stronach as the driver.
Tom won the spec one class(race gas) with 135.8mph.
I ran only on sat and won the open power adder class(pump gas) with 133.2mph.
A great weekend for all and I'd like to give a special thanks to steve stronach for running all three sleds.

Was a great day in North Bay. Very nice numbers from you Andy, was great seeing it working good for ya, you are really getting her dialed in. We did not make it Sunday as we were out riding.
Hoping with this great winter we have, that there will be another run or two in the bay.
Always great seeing how many 998s there are at these events. When you see 850s run, you can really see how fast these Winders are.
Congrats to all!

Just out of curiosity, how did the 850s and 900Ts doo? Any rough numbers?

There is not alot of them....but I saw a POO 850(144") that ran around 96-97mph, and there was a 850 doo running around 105-106mph.Congrats!!!

Dave's Tuned 900t runs around 112mph consistently. Totally set up like a trail sled, big window and tall suspension, trail studs ect.
Goes to show how fast these Winders are tuned.

My stock Doo 850 went 106.3mph, not even in the same zip code as a sidewinder. My polaris 850 runs right around the same as the doo so would be similar speeds from that

I'm curious as I'm tuned but how do the stock winders compare to the 850s and turbo Doo? Like many said they arent even in the same zip code as us with tuned Sidewinders. Had a guy in our group 2 weekends ago think his Doo 850 was fast. Says he's got a bunch of performance upgrades done to it so i turned mine done to the 250 ecotrail tune mind you I'm clutched for Max Spool 17 and the first 2 races I let him jump me on purpose at a 40 mph roll on. Reeled him in very quickly but also misjudged how much room we had on that portion of trail so now he's beating his chest. So next race same distance 40 roll on I took him by less than half a sled length again playing with him. Next race and longer distance I wasn't playing anymore dusted him and was at least 6 or 7 lengths about 1500 or so feet I'm guessing. Of course he was all pissy and said I must have ran the 300 hp tune. So I again showed him my dash was on 250 and offered another race he didn't want too. Those Doo guys sure are sore losers and hate to admit when they were beat badly. ..
