My sled works in all respects...completely...except that this weekend about 2 minutes after starting the guage readings began to read erattic numbers every 2 seconds, and after about 12 seconds the guage pod went completely dead.
The sled remained running, all other functions are ok.
Last winter following an oil change the guage pod would start a few seconds after tbe sled started at the beginning of the weekend, but would then keep running.
Now the guage appers completely dead
Any ideas?

Check your connection's maybe corroded, Gauge pod probably got water inside of it and shorted out. I have a brand new gauge pod if you would like to try it? where are you from?

I will check the connections... hopefully it is a ground
If not i will have the pod tested by yamaha.
If the actual pod is dead, i will be after your pod.
