Might just be longer wire on the mtx as the heated grips plug into the wiring harness? Just a thought

Will see today supposed to get them from Partzilla. I had the same one replaced last year?
The left element for an 09 XTX is 8GL-2626A-00-00 And the left for my 10 XTX is 8FR-2626A-10-00. The 09 is just a thin element while the 10 has thin foam layer around it. It does not work well to have unmatching sets, one element will not heat as much as the other.
