hand warmers

Hi all i just bought the wife a 07 fx and i was wondering how the hand warmers work on it are they actually hottt or just warm ...... btw i have an 06 apex for myself and the handle bar warmers dont work very well ... so i was just wondering about that .. thanks all .......

It will make your hands hot when they're on high i found. Only time i use them is trail riding when i'm not moving around much. They get the job done when its cold though.

I have an 08 Phazer and an 08 Nytro. They don't work, hands are always cold. I am going install new RSI grips or give these heated gloves a try, check this link out.

Mine also work great.I believe last year we all discussed this and it was about half/half.Never figured out what was different.

My Phazer FX handwarmers don't work very good at all. My gf's hands are cold more often than warm when she rides the sled, and don't even bother to ask about the handwarmers on my FX Nytro RTX...

I wonder if the FXs have different warmers than the base models and/or GTs? I have a base model and I swear they could burn you! Seriously, I never need them on more than 1 or 2 out of 8.

My '07 FX warmers seem to work OK. From what I remember, they got pretty warm, at least on high.

I have a 07 fx and i always turn mine down after riding for a bit because they get to hot.

There is a recall on the wiring harness for the 08's that control the hand warmers. My MTX hand warmers sucked until they put the new wiring harness in, now they cook your hands.

Ditto Shoprat. I have 4 phazers 3 of them will burn your hands off, 1 of them was ice cold with warmers on high. Took the one in to the dealer, they installed the new harness, now they work great!

Also this recall is for 07 & 08's.
