I was wondering if anyone was using them and if there is a problem with installing them or with the handle bar warmers after installed. Do they suck the heat out of the bars?
Thanks for any help: b.o.b

BonB, don't know the affect on the warmers, but it was reported on this site in early December that your cover will not fit with the hooks. So if you trailer with a cover, this is something to keep in mind. I know of others that have the Yamaha hooks and love them. I never heard them complain about affects on their hand warmers. Cheers.

I have hooks on my sled....seems to be fine.
I do not think that they rob heat.
We have an enclosed trailer so I do not know about the cover.

hooks do rob heat!
If you just add the hooks you will lose heat. I don't know why. You will lose about 35% of handle bar heat. Up here in Manitoba, Canada that is important!

I put Polaris hooks on my Mtn Rx-1. No problems at all and the Yamaha deluxe cover still fits.

I just recently put hooks on my Warrior and have had no heat loss. I used the 45 degree hooks from Sportstech the Ultras.
