Yamaha has a pad simular to the RX1 pad, but narrower to fit these bars on the web site.

IMHO a full pad looks much more finished on the sled, covers the wires and cables.

To be honest with you, When I ordered that pad I thought it was going to be shorter myself. I guess I don't mind this one though.

It's all in what you want. I agree with the aggressive look of the smaller pad, but I won't mind covering up all the cables and wire loom and have a small storage area too.
