Not much out there on the actual installation of handwarmers so I have a few questions. I have the heater and bar which Yamaha brand which is good. I have the warmer, new grip and rivets.
1. How far under the hood is the plug in switch (I didnt take it apart yet)
2. Do I use grip glue or are the rivets good enough to hold the grips in place?
Any other info would be good as there is not much out there.
1. How far under the hood is the plug in switch (I didnt take it apart yet) The connector is behind the light under the rubber boots.
2. Do I use grip glue or are the rivets good enough to hold the grips in place? Rivet is fine but you can put some glue to be sure. Depend of your type of riding
Use hair spray for lube to put on the grip. When it evaporates your grip will be stuck on. You can still glue the edge. Be very careful not too wrinkle your new element while installing or it wont last very long.
