Has anyone tried these helixes???

They are a dual strate cut with no transition. They go from one angle to another immediately. For instance a 52R46 starts as a 52 & about 1/3 of the way down goes strate to a 46 angle with out any transition. Tested em in a SRX & they seemed to work well. With the proper primary set up they work.

Actually they are different than the reverse angle helixes, below is the description from the dalton site.

New "R" (RADIUS) series helixes for Yamaha from Dalton Industries features a short duration initial angle radiuses into what is mostly a straight angle helix (second angle). This style of the cut is a favorite of some clutch tuning professionals and is quite effective at controlling initial over rewhile still maintaining the characteristics of a straight helix.

Turk have you had an testing on your Attak with these ones or just on the SRX?? I am very new to this playing around with clutching and was just poking around for some insite. What would a guy have to do to get his primary setup to work with these helixes??

Thanks

these are a mostly straight cut helix...they will react differently in your shift pattern then the standard arched curve helix.....I used to run alot of these on my machs...they were called "holeshot" helix....they will upshift quickly at beginning then when onto the straight part act like a straight.

personally I like the standard curved helixs Dale makes...Anything from 52/42 to 54/44 work well with his RED sec spring.
