Headlight 2002 Vmax 700ER

I started blowing head light fuses,and need a good place to start to fix the problem.Help would be appreciated

I have seen a bulb that shorts out. Not very common, but I have seen it. Also check the harness didn't touch the exhaust.
This thread should be in the two-stroke side. Maybe one of the moderators can move it. @maim

I do. Havent checked under bar pad .Heat shield not problem,as blew fuse when not using.I know there is no damage from mice

Heat shield connection is connected to the light system, as it was out along with tach and fuel gauge when fuse blew
