Which are prone to failure? Heel clicker and Hammertime are totally different styles of weight and i didn't think the Heel clickers were prone to failure. I know Bender uses Heel clickers with there kits and no problems. I hit 134mph on a Bender SRX(700) in 2000 feet using Heel clickers at 9600rpm with no issues and did alot of runs at that rpm. If you can hook up these weights pull hard.

They are BOTH prone to failure. There have been pictures on this forum (before the great crash last year) of exploded HC's and HT's.

If you want a REAL weight, get Heavyhitters. They do NOT fail, and are FAR more efficient - HC's cause belt slippage resulting in high temperatures and lost power, HH's do NOT.

perfect reply, nothing to add.

except I am going to Revelstoke Thursday LB, nyah nyah nyah

hehe

Of all the sites I visit I have never found a post about Heavy Hitters failing. I can't tell you how many I have come across on HC's. Why chance it................

We have a set on a SRX with over 3000 miles with out issues. This sled has been run long and hard also.

do NOT buy hammertimes lots of failures...heel clickers i have put over 10,000 kms on srx's, a piped viper and my 03 RX1 no issues, just hard accelerating sleds, that radar really well. period
