HI i am new to this site I just purchased a set of Razor skis for my Sr Viper RTX i hated the Tuner skis on the sled after getting a good deal on them i am reading allot about heavy steering and people not being happy I do a wide variety of riding half groom trails, half back country un travelled logging roads, un traveled lakes etc that can have quite a bit of snow. I purchased a set of 6 inch stud boy shaper bars for the skis. Front Float shocks are set up 60 psi i weigh about 180 wondering what other people might have done with there suspension adjustments

i cant say much about c&a's on the vipers but when i put them
on my xp skidoo they took a ton of tunning and shimming to make them work, on the viper with tuner 3s i put 6" shaper bars down the center and stock carbides to the out side, it handles like its on rails

That's perfect setup for CA run it. May dart if on hardpack but they turn and turn well. Any extra effort you will quickly get used to and anything is better than pushing. I rode a 800 cat with that exact setup and it was easy steering and worked well but it was loose trails.

I agree. Didn't notice it being much harder on my nytro, but I did notice it. My dads viper turns easier than my nytro with them on and left stock set up. I say try it and go from there

I run C & A Razors on my Viper RTX. I went from shaper bars to slim jim doolies and the steerring effort was cut in half. Almost no darting and turns great. I haveFox Foat Evols and run 70/150 for pressures.
How much carbide?

Ditto for me. I run 6" slim Jim doilies on my C&As

With the Dooley how did the loose snow handling go? I rather deal with heavy steering or bit of darting to have it go where I aim it. So haven't changed from shapers. Wouldn't mind much less effort tho

No farting in hardpack, easy steering and little-to-no push in loose conditions.

Awesome. Know my next set thanks. To bad you're not making tunnel extensions still. I would love a 4-6" one for my nytro rtx
