This is sold at at Turbo Dynamics

and Hurricane, see Dave's Video:

What keeps the filter from turning into a giant ice cube?

It is really priced high but I'm sure someone will make a knock off for less. Either way I'm going to get one.

that looks like a new toy for the bullpen as soon as someone finds me a new track to buy for cheap..need 1.5 or so lug

The stock box already breathes cold air. I've taken the filter out of the stock box, no gain, I've taken the filter and cover off the stock box, no gain.

What am I missing? Does it pressurize the stock box at speed, and if it does it will need the stock hole plugged off, correct? Still use stock filter? We need more info, but it sure looks cool other than loosing some air to the clutches.

Maybe GAP should post and address those questions.. I have the same thoughts.

I notice our 2 big tuners aren't posting much on here anymore. I'm guessing they are too busy developing new products or is there more to it? It would be nice to have more info on this ram setup for sure, especially at that price point...

They are both going head to head of that other brand..

Just spoke to Dave at Hurricane, he said GAP has tested this to pressurize the airbox at speed. Sounds like it takes them 22 hours to 3D print this piece, each one, thus the high price. When I asked him about blocking off the stock intake, he too thought that would need to be done to keep the pressure in the box, but hasn't tried it for himself yet.
