I am looking to put a Hindle muffler on my Nytro. At this time I am only looking to put the muffler on but I like the looks of the hindle and it affords me to go with the matchind header later. What I was wondering was this... with Just the Muffler (slip on) will I need to do anything with the fuel or can I just put the muffler on and go? also I am torn between the stelth version to go under the stock plastic or the standard. I like the plastic and saw that Excell has a piece that replaces the stock one for their center exhaust exit, Do you think that would work with the Hindle?. Also I ride in northern MI and as long as you are not an idiot no one cares about pipes or cans on sleds. Thanks for the help and PLEASE let it SNOW!

im not 100% sure on this..but I don't think you can purchase just the Hindle Slip-on, i don't think it will fit the Stock header.

You CAN purchase a slip-on to stock header....and if you want to upgrade to the Hindle header at a later date you can...you can have it in a hidden or visible version.

I'm sure the Excell plastic would work with the Hindle slipon...it's is a very nice piece. You should be fine to bolt it on and go.

We have always had the slip-on system in hidden or under that fits the stock header. Thanks for answering shaddow44.

Hindle Full Stealth with OEM plastics... + Turnout.
Just awesome, no one can tell, nice and quiet at slow speeds, around town and neighbors, passes wardens etc.
Then when you puch it... It comes to life.
Best MOD purchase so far for my XTX.

As I understand it Hurrican in Canada has a US shipping address.

Hindle slip on

I have the hindle slip on my 09 xtx. I went with the sleath kit. The muffler fit good all the stock plastics fit good. I think that a low rpm driving (like around the cabins) it is not that loud, but when you hit the throttle it has a nice sound. I have not done anything else to the motor, my dealer suggested to remap the computer I just havent had a chance to do it yet. Overall I am happy with the muffler.
