- Nytro Push Turbo
I have a 2011 XTX
Push turbo / 190HP
Primary arms - Dalton quick adj wtih 65.2 gr wt.
Blue/brown/Blue - Stiffest spring
Machined overdrive by SB.
Secondary stock white spring
SB helix F1 46/39
Twist 80 deg (6-2)
Flatlander sled in Wisconsin.
1.25 inch track.
Problem- Keep hitting off rev limiter on top end (WOT).
I tried adding weight to primary as well as using a softer primary spring. No chg.
Would increasing my helix angle fix this? Say 50 deg straight?
Thanks.

I would throw a bunch of weight at it until the R's come down, then slowly remove a few grams as necessary until you find your desired RPM. I would avoid adjusting the secondary too much except to fine tune.

Yamaha silver secondary spring with 6-1 wrap to start off, should get you pretty close.

Woody is right try more weight in conjunction with the spring. I prefer the lower finish angle because it almost always gets a better top speed, and no slipping.
