Hello all,
I have a bender exhaust, and once again, its all smashed up.
As you can see in the pics, behind the y-pipe, it is flared out and the pipe is enlarged, while at the same time showing ripples from heat.
Then further down the pipe, it actually pinches out to a very restrictive amount, and once again, shows lots of signs of heat ripples.
My main concern is that im going to be loosing performance by keeping this exhaust on due to all these ripples (creating turbulence) and the pinching of the tube.
What do you guys think? Keep it or ditch it?

Cut the bad part out and have a new pipe welded in its place.
You could also have a couple of braces welded to the sides of the new pipe.

Is it broken or cracked?
If not you could try placing on top of a huge pice of wood, place another piece of wood on top where you need to kick the tube back to shape, hit it with a sledgehammer and see if it will return back into shape. If it fails you could still cut, fix and weld the pipe together again.
