I'm selling my Y-Pipes off my 06 Attak and I don't know if they are tianium or stainless steel. How would I figure this out?

Titanium are light as a feather. I can weigh one and then you can weigh yours to compare.

That's what I first tried and the magnet didn't stick. Just to make sure I tried to stick it to a piece of 304 stainless and it didn't stick either.

I just changed mine out a while back. The titanium weight very little. You willnotice when you pick up one of each. As someone said earlier, they are very, very thin, while the stainless is double the thickness, and quadruple the weight. Big difference in weight.
If they are the original ones, there is a good chance they are titanium.

Well then I guess I will just pull them out tonight. From changing exhaust from before I'm going to say they are titanium.

sounds good. but how do you know if yours are titanium or SS.

I've torn enough of them apart to know the difference. I've also learned alot growing up in my father's welding shop. Used ss pipes usually have a brownish finish/look to them. The titanium will tipically have a blue tint and welds will be "colorful"
