Embarrassing. Looked at the manual, Can't find a bolt and hook under the seat as shown

There are two or maybe 4 10mm bolts up inside the tunnel (that hold some of the plastics)that need to come off first. They are hard to see and get a socket on them.

idk but no one argues they are under built. if memory serves, you have to pull the tips, then the rear centre section with the tail lamp to get at the seat hold down bolts on an rx. theone in my garage atm has been modded to 06 apex tail light set-up so it is a bit different.
