How do you like your apex

I have a 05 RS venture but i want something for when i ride alone. I was looking at the apex Rtx. Just wondering how they ride or if anyone has drove a few of the snowmobiles from yamaha, and had a preference.
Any problems anyone is having? Let me know

Remember to dress in layers if you get one. MANY,MANY layers.

Don't take this the wrong way,but you would probaly get more feed back in the apex section.

I have 1100 miles on my RTX, and I love the sled. No issues at all. Like said, it is a bit drafty at speeds at and above 80mph. I would probably go with a mid sized windshield. I wear some great stuff and a modular and you can feel the pressure of the wind from the chest up. If it is really cold out, you may get a little chilly.

Okay, now about the sled....handles great. I have the shocks at 65psi and it rails through the trwisties. I'm now running a set of woody's dual 6" carbines and zero darting. This sled just keeps on pulling. Handles the mogals fairly well, to. I have never been sore after riding the bad stuff like I have been on pre '03 models. Just a great all around sled. You would not be dissapointed.

Good point, I will try that as well. Allways looking on this part of the web site did not think to look there.
